| hrm. this weekend i felt like i wasn't alone. for the first time in a while. i thought i wasn't having a party but evidently word was spread before i figured that there wouldn't be enough people. people that came over: krimmer, aaron, lisa, shelby, kelsey, spore, kat, lauren (not my sis), lisa's friend, angel, zach, zach's buddy, christine, and jesse. i think there were a few people over here. but i didn't feel alone which was weird. i always feel alone. what else. we got daniels car so bad. 10 cans of silly string. it was like this: Jesse driving, krimmer passengering, and me and aaron and kat and *lauren* holding down the bed of the truck. all of us (except the last two) had two cans of it and me and krimmer had 3. 1 minute and 30 seconds is about how long it took. we turned aroung in the old food lion/brookshires parking lot and a policeman saw us. he didn't stop but he pulled a u-ie over line freaking avenue and came through the outback parking lot to look at daniel's car while we left.
muriel talked to me the other day. can't say i've felt more abuzz in the past few months. i get to see her next year!!!!! only 10 or 11 more months!!!! wow. i couldn't believe it. ROAD TRIP! woohoo. going to south carolina. aaron said he wanted to go. then he asked if we can stop by california. i hit him.
the new zao cd rocks hard. it rocked my testicles off. a lot.

| | went to excalibur saturday (because legends closed until monday to move) and bought some packs. i got 10 fifth dawn and 6 mirrodin. so i opened the mirrodin and to my surprise i received a shiny goblin charbelcher!!! i said, "...!" and was happy. so i keep opening packs and getting good stuff. then i get to fifth dawn. i said to myself, "wouldn't it be awesome if i got another shiny?" that somewhat put me to expect that i would and i started opening packs that didn't have a shiny. then i got a shiny uncommon which i don't remember. then on the last pack...boom! i got a shiny razormane masticore. i was like wow. so i said give me 7 darksteel, i want to see if i can get 3 foil rares. first pack, like magic, a shiny soulscour. i ended up with about 6 shinys and some goood rares. i was happy. that really made my week. and im gettin paid tomorrow so i can get FIREWORKS!!!! yes! im getting to go to work at 6:00 tomorrow so i get another hour of overtime. that brings me up to uh... 99 and 1/2 hours this pay period. so, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA to all of you who only get to work 40 hours or less a week! | | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |

i was driving arround after reaming jesse's truck and spore and aaron (as well as aaron's car) with silly string. great times. so me and krimmer are going back to shreveport at about 1:00 in the morning. when i was driving on barksdale blvd, i got into the wrong turn lane so i jerked back over into the main lane. whenever i turned, i saw some headlights (i get blinded by them at night due to some eye problems) and swerved into a turning lane on the other side of the street. all in clear view of a sherrif. yes. not realizing it, i sped up to about 80... in a 50 i believe. or maybe i was going 70. but the sherrif got behind me and pulled me over for reckless driving and speeding. not to mention that but my registration had expired. 2 months ago. and the registration was also not in my name nor in a family members name. i did not realize this. i was scared half out of my mind not to mention my eyes hurting due to the flashing lights and my glasses being fogged. the officer says: "have you ever done drugs?" "no" "never?" "never" "are you serious?" at this point i almost said "no, im brian" which would have probably landed a truncheon in my face :). so i said, "yes." he says, "well, thats really good. i'll let you off this time but make sure to get your registration renewed first thing monday morning." so yeah. that was fun. | | comments: 3 comments or Leave a comment |
| found out the new underoath is out. i will prolly swing by best buy after i pick up some strings and get the mofo. their music reams the piss out of the old stuff. very, very good i must say. their video is not that good but its another hardcore band's video so i guess thats a plus. i might also pick up franz ferdinand or the new 18v tomorrow for 9$. another late month buy might be modest mouse or lost prophets at about 8$. which isn't bad. good music for cheap? i'll take it. if anyone of you people have not picked up the most recent kill switch engage album, you must do so. well, i'll buy what i can with whatever is left over from strings before friday's check.
whew. what else? thats really all i've been thinking about. i put a razor into my hand at work. hurt like the dickens once i got past the surprise of seeing the blade sticking into my hand about half an inch or a little less. it wasn't a squirter but i did hurt. we unloaded a truck the other day (an 18wheeler mind you, not a pickup truck). the people that were helping us we retarded. they would get on the other side of the 12' box we were carrying and pull down as hard as possible grinding the nice and heavy corner straight into your shoulder. its been killing me ever since. couldn't freakin sleep.
yesterday we went to look at fans. it pissed me off so much. the fan lauren and myself liked was not available. it was 196 marked off from a lot more. but the guy said it was 80 in reality. but the guy said he could sell us the model at a lower price. so we went with it and he called the manager to find out how much the price could be lowered. she said 60 and dad was like, "no, i was thinking 40." WTF? 60 dollars for a fan that would have been 260 and you turn it down? so she said 50$ then? dad was like, "well....brian and lauren, why don't you go look at some other fans." no freakin way. that fan was the coolest fan in the world. from 260 to 50 and my dad thought it was pricy at that?!?!?!? i don't know what was wrong with him but it pissed me off a good bit.

fith dawn came out not too long ago and it is butt freakin fun to draft(where you pick 1 card out of packs that are passed arround). i thought the new mechanic sunburst would not be that great and it isn't in constructed(where you make an actual deck from your bought cards) but draft is good. favorite commons: Conjurer's Bauble and Opaline Bracers and Pentad Prism. Favorite uncommon: Paradise Mantel (the best card in the world). and rares suck. i hate them.
DIABLO
got the expansion. its okay. but i was much more impressed with diablo 2 than with Diablo 2 LOD. it keeps trying to give me these stupid barbarian mercenaries and it pisses me off.
MY JOB
its going good. i get to work 10 hours a day instead of 8 and we get off early on paydays which still leaves us at about 8 hours of work. so i get about 98 hours per paycheck instead of most only 80. good stuff. i have done okay (except trying to work with my friend jose who i nearly died from exhaustion with. if you do not understand why, i'll say this: jose is a hispanic name). and except for the time earlier today when a 100 pound barrel of aluminum fell on me. or when a piece of metal on the portable crimper when into my finger. but all is fun. the whole making money thing rocks.
